Diabetic Study

Adult-onset diabetes is characterized by high blood glucose, and is often initially managed with increased exercise and dietary changes. However, the condition frequently worsens, at which point medications are required. Long-term complications from untreated high blood glucose include increased risk of heart attack, stroke, kidney failure, and loss of eyesight.

Many new medications have been developed to help treat poorly controlled diabetic conditions. QLMC, actively involved in this area of treatment, is seeking candidates for participation in a study of diabetes medications.

Candidates must not be pregnant, breastfeeding, planning a pregnancy in the next six months, or have undergone a hysterectomy.

All participants will receive quality medical care.
