Open Enrollment – Gout
Have you been diagnosed with gout or gouty arthritis? Gout is an inflammatory condition affecting millions of people throughout the United States. People with gout often exhibit other health problems, such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease, or gouty arthritis.
Open Enrollment – Opioid-Induced Constipation
If you are on a pain opioid or a narcotic, and are experiencing constipation due to your medication, we may be able to help. Criteria will vary for each candidate. Please call QLMC for details.
Open Enrollment – Female Low Sexual Desire
We are conducting clinical research pertaining to women who are concerned about their reduced interest in sex, and are currently screening women who:
- Are premenopausal
- Have previously experienced a healthy sex drive
- Feel a reduction in sexual desire, with accompanying relationship-oriented distress

Open Enrollment – Low Testosterone
Are you out of energy? Have you lost the spring in your step? You may be suffering from low testosterone. QLMC can help. We are looking for men between 21 and 75 years old who’ve been diagnosed with potential low testosterone within the last 6 months (or who’d be willing to find out if they do indeed suffer this disorder) to participate in our low testosterone study.
All studies require written informed consent.

Open Enrollment – Body Pain Study
QLMC is evaluating an investigational medication to determine its efficacy in the relief of moderate-to-severe body pain in adults. To pre-qualify for this study, you must:
- Be male or female, age 18 or older
- Have been on a consistent, daily regimen of pain medication for at least three months
- Hx of Moderate to Severe Chronic Low Back Pain
- Be willing to discontinue your current pain medication

Open Enrollment – Diabetic Study
Adult-onset diabetes is characterized by high blood glucose, and is often initially managed with increased exercise and dietary changes. However, the condition frequently worsens, at which point medications are required. Long-term complications from untreated high blood glucose include increased risk of heart attack, stroke, kidney failure, and loss of eyesight.
Many new medications have been developed to help treat poorly controlled diabetic conditions. QLMC, actively involved in this area of treatment, is seeking candidates for participation in a study of diabetes medications.

Open Enrollment – Females for HPV/Pap Test Study
We are looking for volunteer participants to study human papillomavirus (HPV) infections in women. This is a unique opportunity for type-specific HPV testing, which is not available commercially. Candidates must not be pregnant, breastfeeding, planning a pregnancy in the next six months, or have undergone a hysterectomy.
All participants will receive quality medical care.

Open Enrollment – High-Cholesterol Study
Have you been diagnosed with high cholesterol? High cholesterol has been shown to increase the risk for cardiovascular events. QLMC is looking for volunteers who are taking a cholesterol-lowering medication to participate in this study.
