Brian McCabe, MD

Dr. Brian McCabe is a physician with decades of experience in anesthesiology, pain management, and cardiothoracic care.
Education
He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Indiana University in 1986 and his Doctor of Medicine from the Indiana University School of Medicine in 1991. Early in his career, he gained international surgical experience at Raleigh Fitkin Memorial Hospital in Manzini, Swaziland.
Experience
After relocating to Tucson in 1991, Dr. McCabe completed his internship at Tucson Medical Center and went on to complete his anesthesia training at the University of Arizona from 1992 to 1995. He began his career in private practice with Rincon Anesthesia, where he specialized in cardiothoracic anesthesia and pain management.
He later served at the Tucson VA Medical Center as Director of Cardiothoracic and Pain Management Services, further expanding his leadership and clinical expertise in complex patient care.
Dr. McCabe returned to private practice in 2001, continuing his focus on cardiothoracic anesthesia and ambulatory surgical procedures. In 2015, he joined Quality of Life Medical Center, where he now focuses on addiction treatment and the management of chronic pain, while maintaining an active practice in general anesthesia.
