Experience

Dave Stevens, PA-C began his career in 1997 in Yuma, Arizona, working alongside an orthopedic spine surgeon. During this time, he developed extensive experience evaluating and treating a wide range of back and neck conditions.

Through his work in orthopedics, he became familiar with conservative treatment options as well as the risks and benefits of surgical intervention. His experience also includes exposure to total joint replacement and a broad range of musculoskeletal disorders.

In 2009, following the retirement of the spine surgeon he worked with, Dave transitioned into interventional pain management. Since then, he has focused on helping patients manage both acute and chronic pain through a comprehensive, patient-centered approach.

Dave’s clinical focus includes the evaluation and management of acute and chronic pain conditions. He works closely with patients to develop individualized treatment plans that may include conservative therapies, coordinated referrals, and advanced interventional procedures when appropriate.

His areas of expertise include spinal injections, spinal cord stimulators, and intrathecal pumps. He also emphasizes appropriate prescribing of pain medications and helps patients explore additional options such as physical therapy, behavioral health support, and stress reduction strategies.
