Kindra Burnell, FNP‎

Education and Training

Kindra Burnell, FNP, earned her Bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Iowa and continued her training through the College of Medicine. She holds a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) in Leadership and Management, along with a post-master’s certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner.

Clinical Experience

She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and has a diverse clinical and research background. Early in her career, she worked as a research assistant in infectious disease, pediatrics, and dental research.

Kindra began her nursing career in surgical cardiology before transitioning to the operating room, where she gained experience across multiple roles and procedures. She also provided care in underserved settings, including work on the Navajo Nation.

Primary Care Focus

Kindra provides care as part of our Primary Care services in Tucson, with a focus on comprehensive evaluation, continuity of care, and managing both acute and chronic conditions.
