Experience

Lupita Castañeda is a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with over 20 years of progressive experience in behavioral health nursing. She provides outpatient psychiatric care for adults, with a strong background across substance use detox, residential treatment, and outpatient settings.

She has extensive experience treating co-occurring (dual diagnosis) disorders and has worked with individuals struggling with addiction, including opioid and alcohol use disorders, since 2005. Her clinical work includes medication-assisted treatment (MAT), including Suboxone and extended-release Buprenorphine.
